Job Description
Noble Foods is the biggest integrated egg business in Europe
with a large share of the UK retail shell egg market. It has five
divisions, and the shell division is the biggest, incorporating
both the egg production (farms) and packing; the other divisions
are Milling, Egg Products, Poultry and Desserts. Noble Foods
produces award winning products for the leading UK retailers with
brands including Happy Eggs and Gü puddings to name but a few. The
business is seeking to recruit fresh talent in the form of two
manufacturing graduates who have the ability and drive to work
their way up from Team Leader roles through to Factory/Site Manager
within the group.
This is a two-year graduate scheme offering the opportunity to
complete 4 x 6 month placements across its operational sites,
including poultry processing, egg products and the major packing
centre. You will be exposed to all aspects of the business and will
be given real responsibility from day one; roles will include line
leading including man management, continuous improvement projects,
production planning, logistics, as well as managing real life
projects where you can make a difference. You will also be given
the relevant training in order to gain core management
skills.
You must be a creative, energetic and highly driven graduate.
Someone who has a genuine interest in operations management
together with a high degree of numeracy and literacy. You must
enjoy working in a hands-on environment and ideally will have
experience of motivating and leading people. Good interpersonal and
communion skills, as well as the ability to relate to people at all
levels, are essential.
You must be expecting or have attained a 2:1 Honours degree in
Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing or Business,
and achieved a minimum of 280 UCAS points.
