Graduate Trainee Mechanical Production Engineer

Job Description

World leading food manufacturer, based on one of the UK's largest manufacturing sites.

• The role of Graduate Trainee Mechanical Production Engineer will report in to the Maintenance Manager.
• Your role will vary substantially, you will start at the bottom allowing you to fully understand the processes and elements that can affect factory performance - this is crucial to your development within the role.
• Your duties will involve:
• Surveying existing installations
• Identifying machinery specifications
• Communicating with external suppliers to collect machinery data.
• Developing databases and data analysis.

Skills/Attributes:

• You must have proven experience using Excel spreadsheets
• Strong communication and team working skills
• Willing to relocate (UK)
• The ideal candidate will have work experience within an industrial setting
• Some experience in Mechanical or electrical equipment of installations would be beneficial.
• Hard working and analytical with a desire to succeed.
• Any previous experience with food and beverage manufacturers is a bonus, although it is far from essential.
