We are looking for a range of candidates to fill roles within various areas of the food industry.  We are looking for the following degrees or those with some relevant experience who wish to have managerial responsibilities.

Manufacturing

Job Titles: Manufacturing Team Leader, Production Planner, Continuous Improvement Project Leader

Manufacturing is a fast-paced environment.  Do you like to know how things are made? You could be improving efficiencies and processes, responsible for a team of operators who you will need to influence and motivate.  Work closely with peers and managers to identify opportunities for improvements within the Manufacturing environment.

Qualifications sought: Manufacturing, Operations or Production degree, Food Science/Technology or
Engineering Graduates

Food Technology

Job Titles: Quality Auditor, Process Technologist or Technical Systems, Co-ordinator

Do you have a passion for the more scientific and technical aspect of food, nutrition, and quality as well as taste?  A Technical role will have you working with New Product Development, Production, Sales, and a number of other departments to get a product right through from concept to final launch.

Qualifications sought: Food Science/Technology degree or relevant bioscience degree preferred

Fresh Produce

Job Titles: Manufacturing, Technical, Commercial Trading, Growing disciplines

Are you interested in how and where food products are grown? As part of your role you could be responsible for the supply of product from seed to shelf, working at source with major suppliers helping to develop supply chain efficiencies whilst guaranteeing the continuity of quality supply.

Qualifications sought: Agricultural, Horticultural or Manufacturing related degrees

New Product Development

Job Titles: Process Development Technologist, Product Technologist, NPD Technologist

Are you really passionate about food, possess good kitchen skills have excellent food knowledge and exceptional interpersonal skills and love to innovate with recipe ideas? You will be involved in developing products from concept to launch. Studying nutrional information, ingredients declaration, as well as the preparation of product specifications, the checking of product artwork and preparing products to go from bench scale development to the factory.

Qualifications Sought: Food Science Degree

Purchasing

Job Titles: Buyer

Do you crave a fast moving, high impact role that will have you negotiating deals worth significant amounts of money?  (working with external food suppliers across the country/internationally across a huge number of different commodities, anything from Tomatoes to Packaging items) You will work with the factory environment and learn about production, people management, and gain a vast amount of technical knowledge.

Qualifications Sought: A broadly based business qualification would be of interest here

Finance

Job Titles: Junior Management, Accountant

The pace is fast, and your impact could be significant. You will be given a thorough grounding in the business, taught all you need to know about its operations, processes and risks. You will have exposure to a wide variety of areas; Marketing, Supply Chain and Manufacturing, and involvement in management reporting, analysis and financial accounting.

Qualifications Sought: Numerate degrees preferred

HR

Job Titles: HR Officer, HR Advisor

You could be working on projects relating to areas such as employee relations, resourcing and people development. Depending on the company you may have the opportunity to become CIPD qualified.

Qualifications Sought: HR or business related degree

Sales

Job Titles: Commercial Assistant, Account Executive, Sales Co-ordinator, Junior National Account Manager

As part of a team you will be responsible for understanding your clients needs and managing their expectation. This is very much a role where you will need to think on your feet and come up with ideas. Future prospects include National Account Management.

Qualifications Sought: Business related degree

Marketing

Job Titles: Category Analyst, Marketing Executive, Marketing Assistant, Product Manager, Brand Manager

You will be working as part of a team of marketers to help the business understand their markets and consumers and help identify potential opportunities. The food and drinks industry are always looking for new ideas whether it be products, packjaging, suppliers or new markets to consider.

Qualifications Sought: CIM diploma, Business related degree
